and"}]}]},{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(b)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3572"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"make a record of or use protected information for the purpose of that disclosure;"}]}]}]},{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3573"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"for the purposes of enabling or assisting the person to exercise his or her powers or perform his or her functions or duties."}]},{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3574"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"Note:"},{"type":"text","text":" "},{"type":"text","text":"This subsection is an authorisation for the purposes of other laws, including the Australian Privacy Principles."}]}]},{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(2)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3575"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"The persons to whom the Secretary, or an authorised APS employee, may disclose protected information are the following:"}]},{"type":"legalList","attrs":{},"content":[{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(a)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3576"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"a Minister of the Commonwealth who has responsibility for any of the following:"}]},{"type":"legalList","attrs":{},"content":[{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(i)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3577"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"national security;"}]}]},{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(ii)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3578"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"law enforcement;"}]}]},{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(iii)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3579"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"foreign investment in Australia;"}]}]},{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(iv)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3580"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"taxation policy;"}]}]},{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(v)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3581"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"industry policy;"}]}]},{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(vi)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3582"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"promoting investment in Australia;"}]}]},{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(vii)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3583"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"defence;"}]}]},{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(viia)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3584"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"emergency management;"}]}]},{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(viii)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3585"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"the regulation or oversight of the relevant critical infrastructure sector to which the protected information relates;"}]}]}]}]},{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(b)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3586"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"a Minister of a State, the Australian Capital Territory, or the Northern Territory, who has responsibility for:"}]},{"type":"legalList","attrs":{},"content":[{"type":"legalListItem","attrs":{"marker":"(i)"},"content":[{"type":"paragraph","attrs":{"id":"v0-p-3587"},"content":[{"type":"text","text":"law enforcement;
